Pain Management

Advanced pain management

Neuroscience-based understanding of pain has dramatically improved over the past 20 years, and any comprehensive program for patients in pain is focused on return to normal functioning.

The California Neuromodulation and Brain Health encompasses the following elements:

  • Medication management with the goal of minimizing opiate pain medication utilization

  • Nonsurgical treatment of spinal pain

  • Correct diagnosis of specific pain syndromes such as pelvic pain and targeted physical therapy and interventional procedures as necessary

  • Coordination with exercise therapists, pain psychologists, and physical therapists

Research trials and innovative treatments for pain management

A number of breakthrough treatments are currently being evaluated by California Neuromodulation and Brain Health and our academic partners.  The current projects are currently enrolling or will be enrolling research subjects in the next 1-3 months:

Ketamine for the evaluation of patients with chronic pain.  asdf.  Currently enrolling

Transcranial magnetic stimulation for the evaluation of patients with cognitive decline.   Currently enrolling
